Rules for Staying at the Rock

The Silver Comet Trail's Only Campground!

  1. Check-in is between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm –Check out is 2:00 pm. Please give us the courteousness of a phone call before leaving.
  2. Tent camp sites (rates only include 2 people per 1 camp site): It is $15 per site and $5 for every additional person (children under the age of 10 are free). 2 Vehicle max per camp site.
  3. Group camping (rate for every person regardless of age) $5 per person per night. Every campsite must be registered by an adult 18 years or older. All vehicles must park in the front camping area.
  4. Tent camping only allowed in 20 amp areas.
  5. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 
  6. No one is allowed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No open containers of alcohol are allowed on the campground. No firearms.
  7. Showers and restrooms are provided for registered guests only.
  8. Only registered guest may remain on the campground from 10:00 pm until sunrise.
  9. Any activity that disturbs other campers between the hours of 10:00 pm and 7:00 am is prohibited. No loud music.
  10. Please limit your activities to your campsite during the night time hours (10:00 pm – 7:00 am).
  11. Visitors to campsites are welcome; however, visitors are required to leave PRIOR to 10:00 pm.
  12. No 4-wheelers or ATV’s allowed on the campground. Washing cars and trucks is prohibited.
  13. Please take your trash with you to the dumpster at the front entrance. Leave only footprints and take only pictures.
  14. All buildings, other than restrooms and shower houses, are restricted areas. 

​    For your safety...

  1. Obey all signs and abide by the speed limit of 5 miles per hour, and stay on the gravel roadways. Do not drive on the grass!
  2. All vehicles of registered campers and their guest must park in such a manner as not to impede the natural flow of traffic or not to damage the campsite facilities.
  3. Traffic in the campground is one way, counter clockwise only. The roads are not built for two-way traffic. Under no circumstances should you drive any type of rods or pipes into the ground. No ropes or wires between trees. 
  4. All fires must be contained within the fire rings. Do not move the fire rings as not to cause damage to underground cables and pipes.
  5. Please make sure the fire is out cold before leaving the site.
  6. No one under the age of 16 is allowed to be left on the campground at any time without an adult.
  7. Do not leave pets unattended. All pets must be on a leash or inside the camper.
